On the 17th of Ramadhan, Muslims remember the historic Battle of Badr, the first major battle in Islamic history, and the day Allah named Yawm al-Furqān — the Day of Criterion, when truth was separated from falsehood. In this special reminder at Masjid al Noor, Lancaster, Moulana Adil Tagari reflected on the lessons of Badr: faith in the face of overwhelming odds, sincerity, reliance upon Allah, and the sacrifices of the noble Aṣḥāb al-Badr. The gathering concluded with a heartfelt duʿāʾ for strength, unity, and steadfastness for the Ummah.
